Gentle on sensitive skin, with a nice light feel under make up with no hint of greasiness.
I really like that this product doesn’t irritate my (super sensitive) skin, and that it isn’t at all greasy. It initially goes on a bit thick/pasty and white-ish, which at first put me off. However, it pretty quickly disappears into the skin and feels nice and light. The AI review says some customers complain about a white residue remaining on their skin. That has not been my experience. (I’m fair skinned, and not sure whether or not that’s a factor.) The product feels a bit “different” going on but, for me, the drier texture prevents the urge to skimp on sun protection. I still sometimes use the spf 30 Neuturogena day cream (which I also like). But, I think the thicker initial texture of this one makes it easier to cover every part of my face evenly and thoroughly. I feel this product provides protection more akin to a suntan lotion one would apply at the beach, but unlike that, works well under make up. It’s a combination of mineral and chemical sun protection. Mineral sun protection is less irritating to skin, but tends to be thicker, whiter, etc. I feel this product is a good compromise.

This has got to be one of the best face creams with spf (especially for mature women) for the price. In fact, CeraVe makes wonderful products across the board. As someone that often deals with combo skin issues, I appreciate how this product does not leave a greasy film or texture. I can layer serum underneath and setting spray afterwards with flawless finish. It was a life saver on vacation in Australia and Thailand. You don’t HAVE to spend hundreds or thousands to have good skin care. Thank god. As the wealth divide grows at break neck speed, the more products we can afford that work will be more and more precious.

Excellent sunblock and moisturizer
Really love this. It does have a slight white cast, but seems to make my skin look better. My makeup stays on and serves as a moisturizer as well as sunblock without feeling greasy. Have purchased several times and will likely purchase again.

Great daytime active SPF with a few caveats
I bought this product on the search for daily sunscreen I could wear and the Retinol was a nice bonus. So far I like it enough for it to become my go-to sunscreen but there’s a few caveats to using this:Pros:- It goes on quite smooth. I do have to rub it in and let it sit for a bit in order to get rid of the overcast (you definitely have to apply a solid layer for the SPF to be effective), but I’m able to apply makeup over it without any pilling like the other users suggested.- It’s done wonders for my skin. I’m having a lot less breakouts and my skin is healing faster than it did before, and this was apparent almost immediately after I started using this product.- This replaces the multiple step routine I had with a moisturizer/SPF/active.Cons:- It is VERY drying. This is not moisturizing AT ALL. I find myself using a ton of moisturizer at night to prevent skin tightness the next day despite not really having dry skin normally.- You have to be REALLY careful rubbing your eyes with this product on or in the shower as it getting anywhere near them is very irritating and a bit painful.- The pump in the bottle “broke” immediately. After each pump, I’m able to wiggle the top back into position to allow me to pump again so I’ve been able to use it but it’s finicky and they need to figure out a new bottle for this product.

10/10, the best sunscreen ever. I live in a tropical weather so I need both a lightweight cream feeling but with the skin protection as well. So when I got it I felt the cream lightweight and also with the sun protection I needed. Also it last a long time, bough back in early November and been using everyday as my skin protection.

The cream is good, mosturizes your skin and it has no perfumes or harming substances.It is a very thick cream thou, and its not easy to spread sometimes.If you wanna level diferent creams ( serum, sunscreen etc) this cream is so thick that you wont be able to level any other cream, without your face becoming full of… small balls of cream ( when your creams mix with each other and create some kind of cream peel off instead of absorving into your skin).So if you wanna mix it, not the cream. Its too thick. If you wanna use just that then its good. But aply some slight make up upon it because it leaves a white tint

I am impressed with this brands retinol products. The first time I used it , I had some redness and dryness. I just kept using it and I can see improvements. Make sure your face is dry after cleansing or it will expérience irritation from the retinol. Also retinols has been known to improve skin over time and so be patient. It is not instantaneous. If you need stronger retinols, there are some with different percentages on Amazon. Some people can tolerate mixing retinols with vitamin C but some people experience irritation. Do test it to find your own beauty regimen.

I bought this cream recently after researching & reading up a lot on what exact ingredients are important in a cream for 60+ skin. I kinda expected a list of very expensive products but was pleasantly surprised to find CeraVe came out tops in my requirements. It’s a lovely product rich, absorbs quickly on the skin, non-greasy, pump dispenser and very affordable. I intend following it up with the night cream & Serum. I have only been using this product for a short time but honestly feel it’s already working which is amazing! I also use the CeraVe Foam Cleanser which is brilliant for removing make-up. I would definitely recommend using this product, it’s working for me.
