Great results worked quickly
Great product! I needed to add fiber to my diet and couldn’t take another mix and drink powder so I knew the name metamucil had good reviews when I picked it. I was concerned about funky aftertaste from the caplets or excessive gas. I was cautious and started with my lunch taking 2 caplets. I was pleasantly surprised the next morning with good results. I have stayed with this once a day dose since and it’s working great! Highly recommend.

This 3-in-1 psyllium husk powder really lives up to its promise: it supports regularity, helps curb appetite between meals, and contributes to overall gut health.One of the biggest benefits I’ve experienced is improved consistency and regularity—within just a few days of taking it daily, I felt lighter, less bloated, and more “in rhythm.” It’s also great knowing that it helps support heart health by lowering cholesterol, which makes it more than just a basic fiber supplement.That said, there are a couple of small things that keep this from being a full 5-star product:1. Texture and mixing – Even when stirred thoroughly, the powder tends to thicken quickly and can become a bit gelatinous if you don’t drink it immediately. It’s not awful, but the texture might be off-putting for some, especially if you’re new to fiber drinks.2. Taste – I tried the orange flavor, which is decent and not too sweet, but there is still a slightly artificial aftertaste. Solved my immediate problem and a 10+ year old one
Pros:- nearly solved my digestive issue on its own- BM’s cleaner than in memoryCons:- that i have to take them in the first place ; )I have been searching for something to tighten my stools for more than a decade. I tried this in powder form, but it was gross to drink and i didn’t notice any improvement.Recently my digestion went into negative high gear with things racing from ingestion to elimination in a quick, messy, burning manner (sorry for the graphic image, but if you’re reading this, i wan’t you to know if we had similar problems to solve). I had some minor success with digestive enzyme tablets, but not enough. I read the label and did a little research. This lead me to start with two tablets at mealtime. (Long story of testing different times and doses omitted). I settled on 2 tablets “morning, noon, and night”. Things have improved past the immediate problem that made me start looking for solutions and even put a big dent on my decade+ search to make bathroom trips better. With this kind of improvement and with the dosage really needing to be higher than i would have thought to try without some good testing…and needing to be regular rather than “with meals”, i thought I’d share.

I tried these as I wanted to be mindful of sugars and cholesterol and I probably don’t have a high enough fibre intake but after starting using them I realised that it makes things very regular in a gentle, natural way, as such 🙂 I’ve found that these American ones don’t have the “repeat” factor that the Australian ones do so I’ll buy these in future. I only take 2 a day so this pack will last a while.
