I bought this because I promised to give my hair some much-needed hydration and guess what? It worked! My hair feels softer and more hydrated. The overall condition of my hair has improved significantly. It has more shine and feels stronger. This banana oil has a gentle scent like roasted coffee that is also sweet which is very pleasant; it’s not overpowering at all, and the scent washes right out when I shampoo my hair. I’ve even noticed that in areas where I had experienced some postpartum hair loss, I’ve been able to regrow some of that lost hair. I absolutely love the shine and softness it leaves my hair with after every treatment.

A gentle but noticeable change in my hair

Not Worth the Hype
This oil would be great as a hot oil treatment, but not as a stand-alone scalp or hair treatment – it left a greasy residue behind. My scalp is sensitive; my hair is 4C low porosity, so it took a hair steamer to help the oil to absorb. At the end of the day, most of the oil sat on my scalp forming a layer of oil. The layer attracted dirt which led to an itchy scalp. Sooner rather than later, I had to wash the oil out. I seriously doubt it had time to do anything signifcant for my hair or scalp. It smells kind of funky, but it’s easy to use with a twist-top nozzle that can easily be used to apply the product. For me it was not better or worse than any other product like it…except it was greasy.

It’s really working for me!
I’ve been using this 100% natural raw atana oil because my hair is very fine and I’m experiencing a lot of hair loss. After only a short time using it, I’ve noticed real changes.I apply it to my scalp and leave it on for several hours (or overnight when I can), and from the first few weeks, my hair looks thicker and stronger. Nice oil for hair
