Believe the hype. Sound quality, feature set, comfort all perfected
My audio background is “sweet spot” grade audio. Not cheap, not placebo tier, but Goldilocks zone. Think Superlux 668B, SHP9500, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy buds 2, an old Sennheiser BT 4.40 and so on. This falls exactly into that price zone and it absolutely crushes all of them on the thing I care about the most: clarity. TLDR if you need THE BEST noise canceling in this price bracket, get this.I cannot stand muddy or compressed sounding audio like the Sennheiser had. I like being able to hear every layer of audio clearly and this accomplishes that.Comfort wise you’ll forget you’re wearing these for an hour or so. These are the most comfortable closed backs that I have (not as good as the open backs+ velour pads I have, but it is what it is if you want good isolation). If there’s one nitpick I have is that the clamping force is too weak for you to lay down with it unless you have a big head. It’ll just slide right off your ears.I use these primarily to help me deal with my sound sensitivity post TBI. The sound of mowers in my neighborhood was so painful that I had to put on Loops and headphones just to try to block it. This will do it all on its own perfectly! Galaxy Buds of any variety I had couldn’t stop it, but this sure can.Mic quality: this is totally sufficient for work and phone calls when indoors. Haven’t tried outside yet but Sound Guys have a demo and it’s not great for that. There’s a 3.5mm jack on it so I can connect it to my desktop with my Vmoda Boom Pro for a better mic and a wired connection.Software is a little weird. I don’t know why they bothered to make their own janky and poor AI assistant, but that’s off by default: it’ll use your phone’s one instead. I thought I’d have to fiddle with EQ to get it to sound good, but the default tuning is actually my favorite through my testing.I got this on launch day because I happened to need a solution to the mower noise RIGHT NOW but I bet there will be some sweet sales frequently knowing the brand, but I thought it was worth it at full price, even as miserly as I am.It comes with a short type C cable (you already have a bazillion, here’s one more) and a short super thin 3.5mm cable. Maybe ok for connecting to your laptop. Multi point works great, which was my #1 pet peeve with the Galaxy Buds series is that they DIDN’T do that. It’s basically seamless on here and I just don’t think about switching.

Better than Space one that’s for sure
I now own both this pair and the space one, not the space one pro. For the price, this is an upgrade on every single feature you can think of over the space one. I tried both headphones side by side today, comparing them to the same track with the same EQ, and the winner is pretty clear to me. Space two has bigger soundstage, better imaging, noise cancellation is slightly better, however I was pretty impressed with how good the NC is on the original Space one which is really an ultra budget NC headphone right now. For only $120, plus a free case right now, you really can’t do no wrong, this is probably the budget king of NC headphone on the market right now. And one thing it does above all else, is the comfort. One thing I hated about over the head headphones is that most of are very uncomfortable, this is not true for this fresh pair. It is indeed as advertised, extremely comfortable, although the materials feels no different to the touch on the Space one, the Space two just feels better when wearing for a longer period of time. It’s also a bit heavier than the Space one, but I assume that’s because the drivers are slightly better on the Space two.Why do I take a star off? Because despite the pros, this pair still sound like a budget pair of headphone, no surprise here since you get what you pay for. The NC sound is extremely modified to the point that Bass is still very forward and feels uncomfortable, even with hearID tuned EQ. It does not sound like a washed down premium sounded headphone, instead it does sound like a pair of very well dressed budget headphone. So if you are expecting Bose or Sony XM level of sound for only $120, look elsewhere. This is for people with a budget mindset that wants respectable NC performance and extreme comfort for long wearing sessions.

Amazing Launch Deal! Lightweight & Quiet (Plus a Bonus Case!)
I just received the new Soundcore Space 2 on launch day and I’m already impressed. Here are a few things I’ve noticed right out of the box:• The Launch Bonus: Just a heads up for everyone—I purchased these during the launch window and they came with a FREE hardshell travel case (the grey textured one in my photos). To be clear, the retail box normally includes a black soft carry pouch, so getting the hard case as an extra gift was a fantastic value. It feels very sturdy and fits the headphones perfectly.• Weight & Comfort: These are incredibly lightweight (261g). I’ve been wearing them while setting up and they feel like they’re barely there. The memory foam is soft and doesn’t feel like it’s clamping too hard on my head.• Setup & Firmware: As soon as I paired them with my iPad and opened the Soundcore app, a firmware update popped up. It took about 5–10 minutes to install, but it really seemed to stabilize the connection.• Noise Cancellation (ANC 3.0): The Adaptive ANC is very solid. It easily handles the low hum of my apartment. For sharper sounds like the TV, I found that switching to “Manual Mode – Level 5” in the app works best to really seal out the world.• Battery for Days: The box confirms 70 hours of battery (50 with ANC), which is class-leading for this price.Pro-Tip: If you’re using these for gaming or movies, make sure to enable the “Dual Device Connection” in the settings. I have mine hooked up to my iPad and my laptop simultaneously and the switching is seamless.Overall, for $129, getting these headphones plus the bonus hardshell case is a steal. Highly recommended!

These are great headphones. I’ve recently had expensive Bose and Sony earbuds which have both broken, so decided on a well priced pair of over ear headphones instead. Yes they are obviously incomparable in size to a small set of earbuds but the ANC performance of the Soundcore is the same as those very expensive alternatives, in my opinion.See another of my reviews for a case that fits the Soundcore Space 2 headphones. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07ZVHMQWY

I’ve been using the Space 2 for a few days now, coming from the Space One Pro, and the ANC upgrade is the first thing you notice—it’s clearly stronger, to the point where in most everyday situations like transit or street noise, the background almost completely disappears, making it feel like a real step up rather than just a spec bump, that said, it supposed to provide adaptive ANC for people wearing glasses, that feature didn’t really do much for me, because without glasses the isolation is excellent, but once I put them on, noise leakage comes back in a way that feels very similar to the Space One Pro, with no meaningful improvement from the adjustment. Sound quality is good—clean and balanced—but not noticeably better than the Space One, so it feels more like a lateral move than an upgrade, and comfort is actually a step back, as the Space One is easier to wear for long sessions while the Space 2 starts to feel warm and a bit uncomfortable after about an hour, not unbearable but definitely noticeable if you’re using them for extended periods.

Richtig gut.Die Möglichkeit, seinen persönlich ermittelten EQ mit einem werksseitigen EQ zu koppeln ist super.Eröffnet nochmal ein ganz anderes Hörerlebnis.Guter Tragekomfort, ANC gut, alles gut.Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits 🤞🏽
